Advanced Microsoft Excel
CIS 162B

2-day workshop, $215 +tax
9:00 am-4:00 pm

Students will get the most out of this course if they wish to learn the skills and concepts necessary to work with advanced capabilities of Excel. Students should have a basic knowledge of the concepts involved in using Windows XP and Excel. For example, they should be familiar with data types (text or numbers), copying or filling data, basic formulas and functions, and opening and saving files. To ensure the students' success, we recommend that they first take the Introduction to Microsoft Excel XP workshop or have equivalent knowledge.

Apply conditional formatting Use Data Forms
Attach a macro to a button on a worksheet Use Data Validation

Create a basic Web page using an Excel file Use Excel's auditing features
