Microsoft Project Complete

Students will learn how to use Microsoft Project for Windows XP to assist them with project planning. Project management is a complex field that can involve subjective decision-making. There is not one way to teach project management, and this course is not designed to teach all techniques or to cover every aspect of project management. Rather, it sets up situations and examples that will best showcase the features and functionality of the MS Project software. Students attending this course should be familiar with the basics of the Windows XP operating system.

In addition, students should have some project management experience and be familiar with terms such as Gantt Chart, PERT Chart, task, critical path, and resource but, no knowledge of Microsoft Project for Windows is required. The student may acquire these Windows skills by taking the Introduction to Computers course, or have equivalent knowledge.
