Internet Search Techniques

This
course covers an overview of connecting to and navigating within the Internet
and World Wide Web using Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
After students complete this course, they will be able to explore the
basics of the Internet, find specific information by efficiently using
search engines, and find and communicate with others using email, mailing
lists, and newsgroups. We recommend that the student understand the basic
concepts involved in working with a personal computer. For example, students
should be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse, and be familiar with
terms such as RAM, data files, and program files.
